Understanding PSID Numbers
What is a PSID Number?
Payment System Identifier (PSID) is a 17-digit unique number required to make a payment transaction. It is:
- Generated automatically by the system at the fee payment step
- Sent to you via Email and SMS from EPay Punjab
- Unique to each post - you cannot reuse it for different posts
Can I use the same PSID for multiple posts?
No. Each post gets its own separate PSID Number. If you want to apply for multiple posts, you must:
- Get a separate PSID for each post
- Pay the requisite fee for each post individually
Applying for Multiple Posts
Yes, you can apply for more than one post against any PPSC job advertisement. However:
- You must deposit separate fee for each post
- Each post generates its own PSID number
- Applications are processed independently
After Payment – Important Steps
Does fee payment mean my application is submitted?
No! Fee payment does not mean your application has been submitted. After paying the fee, you must still complete additional steps:
- Click the "Next" button at the payment page to continue
- Complete the remaining application steps (uploading images, qualifications, etc.)
- Only after the final "Submit" step is your application complete
What if my session expires after payment?
If you leave the PPSC website or your session ends after fee payment:
- Navigate to the Jobs Page on the PPSC website
- Select the post you're applying for
- Enter your CNIC Number
- The system will resume your application from where you left off
System generated a new PSID after I paid!
If a new PSID is generated when you resume your application after payment:
- Review your CNIC Number - it must match exactly as entered before payment
- Check the Post Name - it must be the same post
- Your application will only resume if both CNIC and post name match the previous session
How to Know If Payment Was Successful
You will receive confirmation through two channels:
- EPay Punjab - Email and SMS confirming successful payment
- PPSC - Post-payment Email and SMS asking you to resume and submit your application
Paid but system not proceeding?
If you paid successfully but the system doesn't proceed:
Contact your respective payment channel / bank helpline through which you made the payment so that your payment status may be updated in the system.
Using EasyPaisa, JazzCash & Other Apps
Can't find PPSC option in the app?
If there is no specific "PPSC" option in EasyPaisa or other payment apps:
- Fee can be paid using any option under "Government Payments (Punjab)" - this includes options like e-Abiana, Excise & Taxation, Punjab Cotton Fee, Punjab Mutation Fee, etc.
- Important: Review your payment details carefully after entering your PSID number before proceeding with payment
Refund Policy
Fee will NOT be refunded in any case.
Make absolutely sure you have reviewed the following before paying:
- Your CNIC number
- The correct Post
- Your qualification matches the requirements
- You meet the eligibility criteria
- All other relevant information
What about withdrawn posts?
If the requisition is withdrawn by the administrative department after you've paid:
- The fee will be automatically adjusted by the system
- The adjustment will be applied during your next immediate online application
- The adjustment period is within one year from the date of withdrawal of the post
Fee Payment at Exam or Interview
Payment proof is not mandatory at the day of exam or interview.
However, you may keep the printout of fee payment for your own personal records - it's always good practice.
